Default Side vents

So i have a 2018 ls500, just noticed the read side ac vents are not blowing air. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Have you tried going to the menu and selecting them on.

Really? Not polite

I know on my LS460 I can turn rear on and off with the 4 zone controls. I think in the LS500 there is a rear seat passenger detection as well, but not sure if just for seat heat and seat ventilation or if it controls the side vents too.

This example is from an LX but my (previous model and generation navigation compared to yours) is similar. See if there is something like this on yours

I took it from the manual, your response could have been better though as if it was a new member they might have been helping even if unsure they are trying to help, there are better ways to state something to another member than that way. Try looking on page 321 of the manual, hope that helps, if not I can check my LS later to see the different methods to engage rear side climate.
