Hi, I've been looking at some used LS500's locally and have come across on Autotrader one with 16,000 (cdn), or roughly 12,500US in front end damage. I believe it was fixed by the lexus dealership. Is that considered a minor amount, nothing serious?

 

I'd call that moderate damage. LS500 has all kinds of tech and components in general on the front end so won't take too much to rack up a big repair bill. Plus parts in general are expensive. Having said that, don't buy the car unless you like to gamble.
