It's been a while.. Haven't driven for at least a couple of months, but finally had the dealership get my car checked. A new seat back and a new control module had to be ordered, and the car is still at the dealership waiting for parts..
Also asked them to check air suspension, I really dislike the way it looks when it's parked..

It seems like the car knows when you're going in a driveway because it seems like it raises right after pulling into a parking lot or driveway and then when you get out, it's still raised. A trick I learned is to push the raise button, wait a couple seconds, then push it again (with your foot off the brake) Then it'll be at the default height when it's parked.

Thank you for the tip! Ya, I've done that as well at first, but got tired of doing that..
I asked the service department if that's possible to reprogram this behavior, will see what they say..

They said they've had to fix all the seats of all the LS's they've sold from that dealership, it might be worse in cold temperatures?
Could this be a candidate for a Recall? Guess it isn't really a safety issue. Are all recalls safety related?

Had mine at the dealer the past few days to do the fuel pump recall and repair the massage in the driver's seat. They replaced the bladder and the controller. 5 minutes after I left the dealership, the new bladder ruptured again and I'm back to square one. Odd, because the original worked fine for 2 years. They're ordering the part again and will take another stab at it next week.

My car is doing the same thing. Hissing at the top of the cycle. I took it in to the dealer and they quoted me 4982.55 to repair the seats. They told me that the seats have air bladders that have a leak. They said they would replace the air bladders in the back and seat portion.
I told them that was ridiculous and will put up with the hiss before spending that for the repair.

What an insane price! I had my seat massage hiss near the top of the back TWICE. Luckily it was still under warranty, they replaced the back massage bladder twice. I got rid of the car when the comprehensive 4-year warranty was about to expire.

Default Was there a solution?

hi my LS just started doing this. Exactly as you describe it. It’s still under warranty. I was wondering what the process was to get it fixed. Thanks!!
