Default High Volume Requirements on Mark Levinson System

I find that I have to run the volume on my 2019 LS 500 with Mark Levinson Stereo at twice the level as my previous 2015 LS 460 with standard Lexus Premium Audio in order to achieve satisfactory sound. I am wondering if the higher volume level is a function of the ML amp and the 23 speakers. That is OK if that volume level is not contributing to damaging the system. Does it matter since the vehicle is under manufacturer warranty? Ant thoughts?

Absolutely! The audio system is designed to be used!

Unless you have the EQ settings maxed out, I doubt you'll blow the speakers.

Just curious; what is the volume number you're enjoying the music in your new LS? Mine is usually running at 28-32.

If I want to hear the bass I run the volume at 30 ish. The surround sound is 3. Treble is 1 "unit higher that middle", Mid range is 2 "units higher than midpoint, and bass is 3 "units higher that midpoint. I bias the the entire sound 2 steps toward the rear on the Front / Rear fader.

Previous LS's with the Factory sound system had the same set up, but I only had to run the volume at 10 for easy listening and 15 to 20 for stronger base.

Someone posted earlier that 30 is no big problem on the ML system for the LS 500. I wonder if it has to do with the amp and the amount of speakers that are being powered.

By the way how high does the volume number go on the ML system? 40 starts to hurt a little bit, reminds me of the old rock concert days.
