Air Suspension
What is the easiest way to tell if a 2018 LS500 has the optional air suspension? Is there a button on the console like the LS 460? I’m looking at cars online and haven’t found one 2018 LS 500 with air suspension. I’m hoping that’s an oversight by the person who placed the ad. Is it a fairly rare option for MY 2018?

there is a button with a pictogram of a car with an arrow closest to the drivers side; located below the touchpad.

If this is listed in the VIN decoder; "Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS)" does that mean it has it? Or is this something unique to the F-Sport Model?
Also, does the F-Sport ride stiffer than the other standard model?

For the 5th generation AVS does not imply that the car has air suspension. Almost all the 5th generation LS cars have AVS (at least the ones that I saw at a Florida dealership) but only a few had the air suspension.

Thank you for the information. I have found the air suspension option is indeed very rare.

I personally would go for an LS with one as I find a difference in how it rides.

Agree - all LS500's have Adaptive Variable Suspension which is not an air suspension.
However, as long as they have that button pictured in post above (pic with car and arrow going up) means it has "Adaptive Variable Air Suspension System with Rapid Height Function". The Air Suspension is a $1500 option, which I find reasonable, and many of the cars I find does have this; in fact I find a majority of the used LS500's in the market does have air suspension.
I personally would go for an LS with one as I find a difference in how it rides.
