What about leasing? That'd be invoice price less 5500$? That sounds like a pretty good deal but almost unattainable, I'll try it tomorrow, I didn't expect to be so aggressive I LIKE IT

...why would you be leasing vs paying outright...this is a Japanese sedan ...not some unreliable German
Leasing is much more complicated with money factor, cap cost, residual, acquisition fee.
Because I don't like to keep the car for more than 2 years, I'm all ears
If you want to lease I would def try to go for December to remember, since its a car on the lot I would def say ask for a price you want they aren't giving what they gave when I purchased but should be good deals. If you find a 19 though that's the sweet spot for cutting some dollar fat. I'm guessing dealerships will give around $8K-10K off as the Lexus cash isn't that high, good luck let us know if you do get it, I want to see that kirko glass.

If you're leasing, get a German car. The S550 and A8 are superior vehicles to the LS500, and I see no reason why you would lease the LS500 when the only real advantage it offers is that you can own it longer with the fear of it breaking. The S550 is going to be a much nicer vehicle that's quieter and has tech in it that makes the LS500 look like a 2000s model. The A8 is not quite as nice, but it's also leaps and bounds ahead of a LS500.
Literally the only reason I purchased the LS460 was because I knew I could own it for 10+ years without as much of a headache. Do you know how many luxuries a 2015 S550 offers that even a 2019 LS500 just barely got?
I generally do the following:
1. Negotiate the price of the car including all rebates
2. Determine if you want to lease or buy.
3. If leasing then find out what the money factor and residual are for the number of miles you want to drive each year. You will find threads on Edmunds that show what Lexus Financial is offering for money factor and residuals for various cars. You want a low money factor and a high residual to get the lowest monthly payment. Compare that to what your dealer is offering.
4. On IOS there is an app called leasematic. Plug in the numbers and see what the monthly payment is and then compare to what the dealer is quoting.
5. Factor in your trade as well (if any)
