Default Stop freeway exit list

Anyone know how to stop the NAV from showing the freeway exits whenever I go on the freeway? I read the manual and there is no apparent way to disable it. I remember is was tricky in the GS350, I think you could only change it when it popped-up, I tried that and it didn't work either. It's driving me nuts.

I remember being able to disable it in the GS but in the LS I have to hide it everytime.

I can't find it now, but somebody posted that the new Carplay update makes the freeway list configurable, so you can turn it off permanently. I don' t know because I don't have the update installed.

‘‘Twas I that mentioned it. It’s disabled for me with the latest CarPlay update, but I will say that the tech advisor at the dealership did it for me. I’ll have to search for it and post my findings.

So that option was there only after the Carplay update?

That’s what I was told. But for those that don’t have the car play update let us know if those settings are there.

I have the fourth gen LS (no carplay) and it has the same option. Annoying as hell; not sure why anybody would want offramp data to pop up automatically.

My build was Jan '18 and it doesn't have that option.

I believe mine is March '18 and I don't see it either. Now we gotta figure out if this option was added with the carplay update or is tied to build date.

I think Lexus finally came to their senses with the 5th gen LS and offered it during the carplay retrofit update. The tech advisor mentioned a lot of people had complained about it.

Now the next thing they need to fix is to re-enable the auto-mute of the nav directions when you're on a phone call. Those were my two biggest beefs with the 500 nav system vs. the 460.

I have good news for owners of the 2020 Lexus RX 450h: You can turn off the "freeway exit" suggestions within the latest Navi system. I called the Dealer's "Technology Specialist" and he walked me through the process to turn it off. He did mention as well, that the older versions, it will not let you turn off this feature.

Gonna guess you posted this in the wrong place as this is the LS forum!
