Does anyone know how to customize camera to turn on automatically when parking? I read somewhere where it can turn on when car reaches 6mph to assist with parking.
Turn it on by using the switch for the 360 camera system to the left (and slightly below) the steering wheel. On the screen you will see a soft switch for auto. Press that and it will come on automatically when the car's speed drops below 6 mph
Ahhhhhh LexRuger - I do not!!!! Ok, is there a specific MOD # that determines the availability of the cameras ? I never even thought of it at purchase and thinking that the F-sport was just below the Executive model. Hmmmmmmmmmm

There is at least one person that added a front camera to their LC. The thread should be on the first or 2nd page in the LC section. But I never seen anyone add side cameras to a Lexus.
I've got a buddy in Japan that is looking to see if he can buy the digital side mirrors that are on the 2019 ES models. other than that, I can't seem to find a US Maker to buy the mirrors with the cam on them. visiting the dealer tomorrow and see what I can find out as well as asking around some of my buddies in the NAHQ Toyota team.
TigetJacks,
It looks like your car does not have the "panoramic" mirrors. I just bought a 2019 LS500 that has them; and to me, while nice, it probably isn't worth installing some expensive aftermarket camera system to mimic it. Perhaps you should test drive a car at your dealership that has them to make sure you really love them before going through the hassle to install them on a car that didn't come with them. I like them, but not enough to go through any hassle to get them.
With the really low lip of the front grill, it comes in handy when pulling into a parking spot where you have those concrete barriers. Some of those barriers are slightly higher than the lowest part of the front lip and you end up hitting the concrete barrier. Now that I have it I doubt I will buy another car that doesn't have it.
And... I've had a few LS460 Ls before. I just didn't pull in too much so the back of my car invariably stuck out of the parking space.

As stated in another thread, My son ripped off half his bumper on his Audi by hitting one of those concrete parking blocks

With my LS 460 I got to were I would back in most places, Our new LS 500 seems to be even lower, as this is my first week with it, checking out how the bumper sensors detect close items. I even use the Backup on my GMC pick-up in parking places. Being long bed, sometimes it's a pain to pull into spots. I even back into my garage, In case my wife is chasing me and need a quick get away.. :-)
