I have a 2018 LS 500 with 7200. Got a second recall regarding tires. I took in vehicle to dealership. Not only do they not have the tires but they don’t even know when they will be available. Possibly September. They made no mention of that when I made the appointment and drove 60 miles. Anyone else having these problem?

 

Dealerships should have these tires, the problem is getting verified that your tire is on the recall, as they don't want to give free tires away. The wait time for me was like 3 weeks.

My car has been verified with defective tires. Tires aren’t available until September

 

That sucks then, when I got mine they had them in within three weeks.

 

When you say you got a second recall, was it a reminder, or are they expanding the original recall to more vins?

 

The dealership service consultant told me they had the replacement tires but when I got there he said tires weren't there as he thought. So, I said, service the car and I'll come back when the tires are in stock. He and service manager said they didn't want me to drive the car in case there might be a tire problem. I drove a RX hybrid loaner for two weeks after the ES they promised had not been returned.
