Default Anyone going to a Launch Event?

I got invited to one at my local dealer, so I signed up. Might as well take a look, not that I'm buying anything else right now

I am planning to attend one in St. Louis on the 24th. The rep said I could take all the photos I want. I am keen on checking out the HUD, ambient cabin lighting, and the passive "art" display on the passenger side of the dash. I don't think they will have one with the Kiriko glass door panels...

I went to a Lexus and got to drive the new LS. That thing is incredible!

Our local dealership is supposed to have an event but I don't know when it is.

Our "event" was basically to get people into the dealership. They had an LS500 on the showroom floor, and some salesmen answering questions on it, but that was all. Oh, and free nibbles and coffee.

Still, it was nice to see the car up close and check out the seats, etc. This particular car was white with chrome wheels, not my style at all. The interior was very nice, and I liked the rear control panel for the seats, audio, etc.

It's hard to pass up free food. That sounds like what our local event is supposed to be.

The car is incredible up close. I'm not a fan of the shape of the rear windows and rear window area but the car is very impressive. The interior on the Luxury and Executive packages are incredible.

Yes, I agree on the rear side view...not the best, but it might look better with darker body colors. The chrome wheels were just a "no" for me

The interior is really nice. Who knows, I might even buy one five years from now, once the depreciation has kicked in.

I've seen it in a good assortment of colors in person earlier this week. That rear side view looks awful to me. I find almost everything else to be very impressive.

I will say that the only negatives I can point out are that the factory wheels look horrible on every package, the roofline in the rear is ugly, and the interior actually feels smaller than the outgoing LS460L.

Our LS500 event is tonight! I'm a senior sales consultant at one of the larger Lexus Dealerships here in NE Ohio and we are holding it at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the GM of the Cleveland Cavilers as the guest speaker!

Super excited!!!
