Default Parking Brake Adjustment?

I am the 2nd owner of a 2022 LS500 with about 13k miles, and have noticed that when parked on an incline and transmission is shifted into P, the parking brake does not seem to keep the car from moving after I turn the car off and remove my foot from the brake pedal. I have the parking brake set on automatic mode, and I always wait 10 seconds or so after shifting into P before I turn the car off and remove my foot from the brake.

Is this normal for the LS500, or is there an adjustment that can be made to improve this? I don't like the idea of this heavy beast putting stress on the transmission when parked on an incline. We also have a 2017 RX350, and when I use the same process for parking on an incline, that thing doesn't budge.

Thoughts?

Not normal behavior in my 2020. There is an adjustment. Perhaps your rear brakes are nearing replacement.

No adjustment for EPB.

When normal, the EPB should fully engage in less than two seconds.

When parked on an incline, turn off the parking brake automatic mode and press the electric parking brake switch twice to apply maximum braking force.
