Default LS500 2018 Engine Oil Normal Pressure

Good Day Everybody,
This is my firts thread on this forum. So, I've got LS500, 2018 which sucked my blood Now rebuilding enigne 2nd time. After first rebuild, idiot mechanic forgot to retighten pipe coming from oil pump, therefore after 20km engine lost oil pressure and crankshaft bearings got scratched.
When we mesured pressure on Pressure sensor spot with manometer, it showed 0.9-1 bar (cold start(. I assume that is too low.

Do you guys know how much normal pressure must be on idle run? Range?

I don’t know what to make of this. Bumper/grille missing, rust. Left rocker panel trim missing. What has this car been through?
I can’t imagine the bill for an engine rebuild. Is this work being performed at a Lexus dealer? From the looks of the shop I would think not.
Yeah, can’t fathom 14 psi oil pressure either.
I would think it should be somewhere between 30 and 60psi.

Hello Gianni, sorry to hear of your troubles with your LS. The oil pressure you are asking about (0.9 - 1 bar) converts to 13 - 14 PSI which is pretty low I would think. Especially on a cold start when the oil is thicker. I am not a mechanic so I donʻt know if that is too low but it is low. From what I was able to find normal oil pressure should range between 25 - 65 PSI (1.7 - 4.5 bar). Good luck with it, I hope this helps. And like Sajack inferred, you need that thing in a Lexus shop if at all possible.

Thanks for reply Sajack,
Parts are dismantled due to other reasons, everything exist and will be on place.

after dismantling the engine, we found that this part was loose, therefore all the oil was coming out and returning in oil sump before even reaching crankshafst and the rest of its destination
