I have a 2021 LS 500. I'm getting close to tread EOL on the Run Flats (Bridgestone TURANZA EL450) that came with the car. Just curious if anyone has had any experience with Bridgestone TURANZA Prestige non-run flat tires as a replacement? They are the same tire size and all season too. My preference is for a quiet and comfortable ride. The run flats in my experience make the ride on the LS a little rough especially over bumps/rough roads and noisy. And yes I do drive with Comfort mode, which helps a little but does not really make the drive experience better. Below are the SPECS on the tire.
This is a brand new model from what I can tell replacing the Quiet track which many of us now run.
This site had thread search and perhaps you can gain much from this subject which has been discussed often in LS500 threads.
That the tire was introduced on February 25th of this year I doubt you will have much in "Reviews" to go on but the previous model was well received so you can build off of that. the link you provided goes to Costco. I did try to get my "Quiet Track" tires there but they did not offer them. In fact my favorite tire shop could not either.
if this is the newest/latest/greatest and a good fit for your luxury preference then I'd say go for it.

Hi there,
Many of us on this forum have switched to Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack traditional tires from run flats and have been happy with the switch.
This past month in February, Bridgestone unveiled its replacement for its all-season Turanza QuietTrack tire. Now called the Turanza Prestige, as its name implies, the brand built this new all-season tire with premium vehicles in mind. These include sedans and SUVs from Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz etc.
My guess is you will be very pleased with these, and myself will probably transition to these when my QuietTracks wear out.
I'm doing the same thing, except I bought 4 new 19" OEM wheels from a dealer and will increase sidewall aspect ratio. Probably going with Vredestein Quatrac Pro+. Ifs anyone is looking for 3 perfect vapor chrome wheels with 16k miles let me know. The other one has a bit of curb rash but not horrible.

Thank you, Nalod for your response. It makes sense and hopefully a more comfortable & quiet ride too. Good to know that the tire is the successor to the Quiet Tracks.
Thanks again. Much appreciated.

Thanks, PGA71 for your reply. Glad to hear others have gone over to Bridgestone Turanza QuietTracks too. I'm guessing a lot of LS owners especially those over the past decade or longer miss the cushy ride. Personally I don't understand why we can't get the cushy ride that Cadillac's had in the 1980's and late '70's too.

Thanks Bigoofy. I'll keep that in mind. Appreciate it.
Looks as if the QuietTracks are still available.
Tread design for QuietTracks and Prestige is very similar. I wouldn’t be afraid to mix the two if I didn’t need a full set.

I don't have an experience with the Bridgstone. But, if you like, I have a recommendation. I replaced RFT with Michelin Primacy AS. Much better braking power! My LS500 = fsport, RWD, 6-piston (front), 4 (rear) brake caliper.
Right-turning at signal (most cars @10 - 15 mph area, my favorite place), I turn @25+ mph, no slip at all! Maybe, partially due to wider rear tire of fsport. 245-45-20 (front) and 275-40-20 (rear). Very stable turn, usually most SUV behind me give up!
Awesome! You got that Daniel Ricardo break into a corner and smoke them SUV's into submission!
Those extra calipers and them drilled out and the right turn signal implemented on cue makes a difference.
Does AWD activate thru any cornering adding adhesion? I too have a favorite turn and like to smoke the soccer moms in their Denali's. No match for my AWD non staggered set up when I got Mel Torme smooth voice on the Mark Levinson!
I put the Turanza Prestige on two weeks ago and I am absolutely blown away in the “Night & Day” difference in the quiet, smooth and comfortable ride. I replaced the Continental Pure Contact LS that only lasted two years but did a decent job masking some of the road noise that the original run flat tires let into the cabin. It work great in the lower setting and even better in the higher suspension setting around town. These Bridgestone Turanza Prestige touring tires are Game Changing!

I feel like all new tires with new tread feel better than the ones previously on the car. Give it 10k miles and let us know.
I have 9,000 miles on my Bridgestone Turanza QuietTracks and they are still much quieter than the OE runflats, are wearing much better ( less) than the runflats and of course give a much better ride. Wife is happy with the ride.

I replaced the run flats with Nitto NT555 G2s. I've always like these on our Camaro and Challenger. The tires are a high performance summer tire but we live in Texas Hill Country and winter weather is very seldom. I have about 20K on them and they wear well and the ride is just so much better!
