Finally picked up the car. 2024 model. Have to say even nicer after a few days than initial impressions.

Have a few questions though I'm hoping some can help me with as I'm having a hard time finding answers in the owners manual. Please keep in mind the 2024 has a new dash display and I think the lexus safety system has been upgraded as well, so I realize maybe some things are different from 2023 and earlier....

- Is the dynamic radar cruise control always on when you start the car? the HUD shows the distance control bars, even if I haven't touched any controls related to the cruise control. Every other car I've ever had does not show anything related to dynamic cruise unless I've turned the system ON. This car is appears as if the car is always in dynamic radar cruise ON after I start the car.
- Can you change the color of the icons and such in the radio display? Not a big fan of the blue/purple color to everything but didn't see this option.
- In the trunk, right side there is a strap of some sort on the wall. There are also 2 straps on the inside just below the latch. Like you're supposed to put something there then cinch it tight? Any ideas? (I can get a photo at some point)
- I'm having a hard time with the app and profiles and all that. Got the primary driver added and everything seems OK but adding the second profile I can't seem to add the VIN to my app. when i scan the VIN it then wants a QR code from the radio display but there is no QR code. Any good guides here on how to use this?

That's all for now. Settings and adjustability is nice but sometimes I find things like this to be a big pain to figure out.

I'm way out of date from your model, but I can tell you in my 2007 model the strap on the right side of the trunk holds a first aid kit.

 

Ah ok, yes there is a first aid kit included in the trunk. I think maybe the other straps by the latch are for a warning triangle, which I guess doens't come with the car.

Actually have another question.... for driver profiles, can you set different vehicle settings to each driver? So for example, the primary driver likes only the driver door to unlock when you grab the handle.... the secondary profile prefers all doors to open when you grab the lock. Do these sort of car settings (headlamp off times, door locking, climate preferences etc) all belong to the profile?
