LS500 Solid 5 Year Reliability
For the roof noise, if you are referring to a popping sound when making a hard turn up an embankment, I had that also on my 2021 LS. The dealership did fix the issue.
They told me that the bolts used in the roof are a single-use type of bolt that are made out of plastic. Repeated hot and cold causes them to expand and contract and eventually loosen up. You may notice you hear less noise on hot days because the single-use bolts have expanded. The dealership fix was to replace all the single-use bolts with regular/metal bolts. This cleared up. about 95% of the noise. the care is so much better now.

OP alludes this is a constant issue. Perhaps new bolts would do the trick?
Had mine for five years exactly before I sold it. Zero issues aside from the AC servo which the dealer refused to replace under warranty. It acted up sometimes, not always. But I admit I was stressing about it since fixing it out of pocket costs too much and I was worried it would fail in summer and I would be screwed.
Only reason I sold the car was when insurance fixed the car at some ****ty garage after a minor accident which led to more problems.
