Ok, first post on CL.

I know it's not the fastest or best handling in class, or most luxury features, but I have been a week in my new LS F-Sport and absolutely love it. Watched, admired and always wanted an LS since first LS400 released in '89 (bought my first of 7 Toyotas and 3 Lexus' starting with '90 Camry V6 XLE). Finally able to spoil myself. Circuit red of course.

 

Nice car. I picked mine up this past Thursday. Been enjoying and happy with it. This is my 3rd Lexus.

 

We have two LSs, an ‘02 LS430 and an ‘00 LS500.
while the LS430 is considered by many to be the best Lexus ever, it’s certainly not the fastest or best handling.
LS500 is much faster, handling is improved despite its size.
It may not outperform the current V8 versions of MB or BMW, but for most of us it is more than sufficient.
Lexus quality and service is among the best.
I don’t have any complaints.

 

I watched a MotorWeek review of the first LS which was 1989? Interesting watch - price, horsepower etc. You can probably youtube it if interested.
