Should I buy a 2007 Ls 460?
Thank you!
Few questions I have. I noticed coming in off the interstate the car seamed ti stay in cruise. Followed the car right in front of me all the way through our small town. Does this car have adaptive cruise? Another question I have is I don't like how low the mirrors gi when i put it in reverse. Is there a way to set this? I have so much to learn. Lol. Fanciest thing I've ever owned. 😁

You can disable the angling of the rearview mirror when putting in reverse. Here's the instruction from my 2014 manual.
● When the mirror select switch is in the “L” or “R” position, the outside rear view mirrors will automatically angle downwards when the vehicle is reversing in order to give a better view of the ground. To disable this function, move the mirror select switch to the neutral position (between “L” and “R”).
Happy driving!
You can stop the mirrors from turning down by putting the mirror controller in the center position. No way to adjust the drop other than having the mirror set higher in level mode. When you tap the brake pedal, cruise should turn off even if you have adaptive cruise. I'm sure someone here can describe the controls to identify adaptive cruise.
If you have adaptive cruise, there will be a dedicated button on the steering wheel in addition to the cruise control stalk. You would have noticed it because the button will also allow you to change the following distance to the car ahead of you.

No adaptive cruise then. Just weird how I went through our whole town without even pushing the gas. Unless these cars just coast super good.
I'll try that with the mirror. It's kinda annoying. I don't want to look at the ground. I want to see what's behind me.

I have a 2007 which was purchased in 2009 (second owner). Currently has 160k miles and aside from a few of normal things that go wrong with cars, I havent had much of an issue. All jobs done myself, control arms, 2 alternators, 2 radiators, starter, fuel pressure sensor (not for the novice), 1 front air shock, tranny filter replaced and fluid refilled. Car has been very solid besides those things and Im still in love with it. No dash issues perhaps because it was garage kept and when left outside, it would have a windshield shade and has 15% tints. It does have the wind noise issue but a simple rolling the window all the way up and just clicking the down button really quick fixes that and I have aftermarket speakers so road noise hasnt been an issue anyhow. I think for 9k, its a solid car that if taken care of will take care of you.
