No sound from speakers ML
This is the 3rd time this has happened. All i did was disconnect the negative to work on the car and when i put it back on, i have no sound from the speakers. Volume control isnt showing. My fader and treble bass is all at center. The last time it happened i check the 15 amp radio fuse on the passenger side and it was fine. Put it back in and it worked. This time i get nothing. Ive tried 2 different amps from ebay with the same model number of course and it didnt work. Ive even ordered a used head unit and it did the same. Ive been trying to trouble shoot for 2 weeks now. All fuses are good. Amp fan is running. Head unit functions all work but no volume and cant change fader or treble and bass. Is there a module inbetween the radio and amp? Ive disconnected the battery for a reset and even touched the positive and negative cables together. im extremely lost and have an appointment with lexus monday. Car is 2013 Fsport with only 60k miles. If anyone can help i appreciated. TIA

All a/v components are in a ring loop connection. If one in the chain is bad/broken/etc others will fail. In my practice I had a smd choke on roof TV board fail open, thus interrupting MOST ring loop. It lead to many funny glitches, like being only able to select AM/FM but no CD etc
