Default brake sensor removal- how to remove

2007 LS 460. I have one brake sensor each at front right and rear right wheels.

The brake sensor at front right is connected to a tab and to bleeder screw cover. How to remove the brake sensor wire?

how to remove that tab? cut it off ? if so where to buy the replacement tab?

another view of the tab

connected to brake bleeder screw cover. cut it out and buy another brake bleeder screw cover to replace it?

Uh.....well.....the cover just pulls off. It's a cover, the wire has a expanding push in bracket that you can remove like any other of the type using a pair of needle nose pliers. Gently just squeeze the tabs back in and pull it off the metal area it is attached to, just press it back to reattach since the tabs/wings are spring loaded.

The actual connector is easily removed by first spraying with brake clean to remove dirt and allow everything to move. Then once cleaned off press the connector DOWN/INTO the car side of the harness as if you are trying to reconnect it, then press the release down/in and pull it off. It should have nearly zero resistance if you do it this was. When reconnecting use dielectric grease to protect and lube everything, a small amount on the female connector is all you need. By small I mean a thin film that just barely covers it....don't put too much.

Total process is very simple and self-explaining and should take about 2 min

Tab is not that easy ^ unless you have 4 hands, but if you found this thread you already know that. The correct answer is to remove the rotor first and then there are 4 bolts holding on the heat shield, remove them to access the wire clip. If you already cut it like I did, the wire wrap pulls out of the tab, inboard way, and can be replaced with a zip tie. That tab has no part number on the diagrams I saw, part of the harness.
