I did. But need second set of eyes to make sure I understood correctly.

It does seem high priced but all used cars are that way now and will be for a while. The car looks in great condition and seems to be serviced regularly. You know it seems that most of the content on these forums is mostly for people that have issues of some sort. I have a 2010L with air that I purchased 5 years ago with 45K on the odometer and now have 95K and have had zero issues mechanically except for routine maintenance items. I love the car including the air suspension and would purchase again. I did get the sticky armrests on the doors and had them resurfaced with leather at a local shop for about 1K. So yes you may have issues with various components and can be expensive to repair but it is a 460L. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Does the brake actuator 100% go out? I'm interested in a 11 460l awd but it doesn't look like air shocks, suspension arms have been done. Went on a short drive around the block and you can hear some clunking in the suspension. I'll be replacing arms with aftermarket and coilovers if the air shocks go..

OK, Look at the history again and download the history and take it to the dealer. It shows that the axel and the control arms are bad.

They would NOT even consider negotiation. Like jrmckinley said, there will be someone who will buy it so they're not going to care especially in this used market.

Here's the thing, the LS460 is an old car, especially the first years 2007-2012. Great cars for sure, just old. So, any make or model car you buy 10 years or older is going to eventually have issues. Yes currently used cars are selling for stupid money and it's a risk for certain. But, if you know as much of the facts as possible, are willing to gamble, and have a rainy day fund for Murphy's Law, then go for it.

I have owned M-Bs, BMWs, and 2 911s; all of which were all high tech, and all of them got recommended Service. The Most important thing to keep these cars running as designed, was Maintenance.

An LS460 is no different. Without proper maintenance, the car Will begin to slowly wear down edging towards a major failure, which Won't be cheap.

That said, I would look for a car with a solid maintenance record. This can be found on the Lexus website. Just plug in the car's VIN.
