not sure if topic been covered but I am searching for a selection of good OBD device ; the wireless app type. Something in the 'pro' or semi pro category that a diy with above average auto repair knowledge would use.

 

Autel makes good scanners with blutooth connection. But you will have to pay extra for advanced functionality.

 

Someone on another forum recommended this one (for general use, not just Toyota/Lexus). I need a new one as I can't get the software on my wired scanner to work with my Win10 laptop.

 

I've had my Carista adapter for some months now but have yet to use it, as I find myself using an inexpensive wired Actron scanner to check on things periodically. It's been a few years since I've had any codes pop up, so I guess I should be grateful for that. Plan someday is to pair the Carista with the OBD Fusion app and hopefully be able to use it to monitor KCLV readings.

You may want to check the Dr. Prius.
It´s free (basic) but pls. select the OBD what they have tested and are sure that it is the best for their program.
