Can you diy the auto blinker on the 460 as you can on the RC 350? ( i.e from 3 blinks to 5 or seven ? )

 

What year is your LS?

 

I wish my LS had auto blink like my 03 BMW did. I miss that. If there were a way to retrofit it, I'd be all over it.

 

Up for it .... would be quite cool

 

On the 2010+ models, you just go into the personal settings and this can be personalized. I.E. when I purchased mine it was set for 3 blinks. I changed it to 5. I also turned off my seatbelt chime. Not that I don't wear my seatbelt, but when I leave my house, when I get to the end of my driveway, sometimes there may be a need for me to get out (check the mail, etc). And I don't need to be beeped at and nagged about putting my seatbelt on.

 

Ditto... Even my 07 Dodge Ram had the auto blinker feature. Very convenient and useful.

yeah, 2010s have some cool features my 2008 doesn't have...auto blinker for lane changes is a very nice feature. My 2013 Dodge has that

 

You can change it in the settings screen of your navi, I believe you can set it to 3, 5, 7, or 11.

Chris: If I am not mistaken all LS models from the LS 430 onwards have the auto blink feature. Are you saying that yours does not? I had a 2008 LS 460 and that had it as well.

Correct...that is what I'm saying. My 08 does NOT have it.....sure wish it did. If your saying that your 08 DID, then you have my FULL attention!!

 

No..2007 to 2009 does not it have it. To be clear, this feature is when you tap turn signal stalk it flashes signals a certain amount of times without holding down the lever in the lane change position

 

I traded in the 2008 in 2012 and I am pretty sure that it did have the auto turn signal. I had it on a 2002 LS 430 as well, which is why I thought all LS models had it. If I tapped the stalk it would flash the turn signal 3 times.
