Proud owner of a 2014 LS 460 with 35K miles - near perfect and fully loaded. I thought my LS 430 was nice - thsi is amazing and a pleasure to drive. The dealer had only 1 key so I need to use Techstream and find another key fob and add that one. Where is everyone getting Techstream and the required cable to interface into the LS 460?
There should a link available somewhere on this forum, please, use search. A $20 interface cable should allow you to add a key. If a key is virgin or was reset to virgin (in case of an used key), it is very simple to add a key with Techstream. If a key was not reset to virgin, you will need a seed generator or a very specific subsription for Techstream to add such a key. I have tried both ways, and the first way is by far easier.

And MAKE SURE you have a new battery in the remote that you want to add...
I used a $40 xhorse vci clone, none of the drivers would play ball with it, I gave up and used autokent's driver and even though I though it would be either a virus or not work properly, his driver has been rock solid with any copy of techstream off rutracker.
I have the same question.......I have a 2005 SC430 and would like info on what Techstream to purchase, where to purchase, etc. I read here that there are various versions of the cable and software and some are to be avoided.
Here's an article that explains Techstream. You can buy/activate different subscription periods. https://www.obdadvisor.com/toyota-techstream/ As the article states (like any software) be careful where you download it from. If you want to buy stolen/pirated versions and activation codes, you're committing a crime.
