Default LS460L Lexus 2007

Can someone advise me, I have been hearing this rumbling noise on passenger side on low speed. I think it may be air suspension going bad. With them being so expensive to replace I’m considering replacing to the conversion coil struts, does anyone have any suggestion for me. I have gotten a quote to do all for $1400 at this import auto shop please help. Have a blessed day

Why do you think that a rumbling noise suggests an air strut problem?

Of all the possible causes for such a noise, an air strut problem would be pretty far down my list.

I would first suspect a wheel bearing. Had to replace one on my 2007 LS460 a few years ago at around 110k miles.

I suggest you find out exactly what is the cause of the noise first. As mentioned, the air struts may be the least likely of the issue, and hub/bearings one the first things to have checked. How many miles on the car? Have the control arms and bushings ever been inspected or replaced?
