Default Sorry not a 4LS topic

Shout out to bclexus, did this idea in 4th Gen GS forum many years ago.

Carry, dont carry, in arm rest, glove compartment or other.

Our LS guys/gals, what size, iwb, your preferred position, I'm 1 o'clock appendix. Any mods? Practice drawing from holster? How often do you dry fire? How about also including what you carry? I mainly use my Walther PPS M2 but on other days will vary from other Walthers to Glocks. My wife loves her Sig P365XL.
We're at the range often and go to training classes too. The last class we went to was a 3 day tactical training class a couple years ago. I wish I had taken that class from the beginning, I want to do that again soon just for a refresher.

Hello from a newb. 9mm compact. Usually in a little leather baggie on pass seat with an extended mag, or strapped to me (mag still in the baggie). Hope this helps.

One of the toughest things about moving from FL to CA was giving up my carry permit five years ago. I got my FL carry permit in 1987, the first year it was law and always kept a gun in my car, my boat and often on my person. It's very difficult for an average person to get a carry permit in San Diego.

Wow I can't imagine that man, and dont want to haha. That's a deciding factor if we relocate. I heard the weather is mostly beautiful there. I think i would have a convertible

Side note, guys at my range said many of the new people from other states (leftist) big influx this past year, have a new found respect and loving it, buying it all up.

You can always come back

Used too, till the authorities reminded me I'm in Canada and offered me a free, all inclusive retreat.

So jealous of you guys down south

Thanks Boomin, I am considering coming back. The weather is amazing. A real variety of people (if you like people) LOL. The ocean and land is beautiful. The surf and near shore fishing is slow, I miss that too. Convertibles are perfect here. But try to buy a house, coming from FL, it's impossible. CA house $1mil, same house in FL under $400k and the property taxes and HOA fees are at least double. The scarcity of land is the issue. Never discuss guns with people here either, they don't get it. I lived in FL from 1978 until 2018. It is a part of me. Gun laws here are strict, I won't even carry in my car with the magazine in a separate compartment. While legal, if you need to use it, it's useless. At least I'm OK in my home. There are a few ranges to keep up my muscle memory.
