HELP, Where is the radiator cap?
07 460 here,
IS there a standard pressurized radiator cap on my car and where the hell is it?
I have taken off the shield over the coolant overflow plastic little tank and added fluid as it was below the low mark.
I get fluid on the garage floor that does not seem to coming from the overflow tank, maybe from the radiator cap IF IT HAS ONE?
Where oh where is it anyway?

I'm not aware of a traditional cap. Regarding coolant on garage floor, better start checking hoses by feel. The overflow plastic can also be cracked or have a nipple cracked. Then get under car, remove the appropriate plastic shields to look for fluid collecting on the shields and pinpoint your leak. I believe a few radiators have been replaced by members and there are threads to help if that's the problem.
The cap on the coolant resovoir is a pressuration cap that works just like all caps on pressurized liquid engine cooling systems.

ok this helps!
So there is no tradition metal cap, I am looking on Amazon and can't seem to find a new cap for the overflow tank
Mine is now 14 years old and I would like a new one, anyone help me where to get the right one to fit my 07?

Don’t forget to tighten it until it “CLICKS.”

Old school radiator caps are a maintenance item. While this plastic cap could go bad, it's not subject to the same type of heat and abuse the old radiators caps experienced. So, unless you know the cap is bad, there's no need to replace it. The link that Jmcraney has in his response covers how to handle potential leaks and is probably the best course of action. Is the puddle in garage water or coolant?
