Default LS600hL Extended Warranty?

Hi:

Considering a LS600hL with 149k miles. Looking for opinions on extended warranties. Currently looking at Endurance. Reading the contract it doesn't appear to cover brake actuators. It does cover control arms and suspension (says struts, unclear if that also means 'air struts).

Two schools of thought on extended warrantees. Some say its a must have. Others say put that money aside and use it when needed.

Thanks

Struts are not classified as air suspension, it needs to say "air suspension". From my personal perspective, if you enjoy and have a skill working on cars, set aside money for repairs and skip on warranty. But It is going to be expensive regardless. If you go with LS460L, you do not have worry about the hybrid system which can be very expensive to fix.

The important thing when evaluating these plans are the listed exclusions as they make it easier to determine what is included.

For your comparison, the CNA plan on my car (their most comprehensive) was purchased on 5/2/18 at 66,000 miles. It was good for 6 years and 48,000 miles. The cost was $2887. The deductible is $200.

As I said in your earlier thread, it covers the hybrid battery.

Does it say "struts" or "strut rods"? Most extended warranties don't include shock absorbers ("struts") as they are considered wear items. Strut rods are not wear items..
