Headphone static
I have a new to me 2010 LS460. It has two screens in the headrests in which DVDs can be fed directly into. There are two separate headphones that come with it, as well as a remote to the screens. We just tried to test them out for the first time, and there is nothing but static that comes out of the headphones. Anyone have this same setup? If so, can you provide some insight on how to fix this? About to take a long roadtrip with the kids. It'd be nice to have this working again.
This is a copy paste of service from the dealer when I input the VIN. Looks like it happened in 2018. Not sure if it's still relevant in this case:
CHECK DVD PLAYER HEADPHONES ARE PRODUCING SOUND ~|~ ~|~116697 STATIC WAS BEING RELAYED THROUGH DVD HEADPHONES, INSULATED HARNESS GOING TO ECU AND ELIMINATED LOADS THAT MAY DISRUPT THE QUALITY OF SOUND TO THE HEADPHONES. RETESTED BOTH HEADPHONES AND SEEM TO BE TRANSMITTING CLEAR SOUND.
Thanks in advance.
