Hello, Could someone tell me if they have this gap in the molding on the driver side window. I have posted both driver and passenger side window pics. Passegner side does not have the same gap in the molding. Thanks, Frank
Wonder if previous owner was hearing wind noise and did the repair to fill in the gaps. That might explain why they aren’t lived correctly. Just a thought.
I think that gap is pretty common. Perhaps the side of the car that faces the sun most often has the shrinking seal.
Our 460 has an identical gap but it is on the passenger side. Drivers side has no gap. The car is quiet with no wind noise. If you don't have a wind noise issue I'd leave it be.
Our other car had a gap on the drivers door. It did have wind noise issues so I replaced that seal. The new seal once installed had no gap. It's not too difficult to replace but it does cost $75 or so. Here are a few pictures, post # 179 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...l#post11040428
