Default 2010 LS460 6x9 Speaker Bracket

I'm going to go crazy, but maybe someone can help. I need the 6x9 front door speaker brackets. I've bought 3 different universal (so called) and none come close to the holes in my door. Please don't ask me to search the forums. I already did with no luck. I am for damn sure not going to buy the speakers just to get the bracket. Can someone help? Or if anyone have some on the market (maybe with the ML 6x9's blown), let me know. I need to get this resolved before I go insane.

Just so you know, I have the non-ML that I'm upgrading speakers and want to replace the 6.5" to 6x9 speakers. The hole is the same as the ML, so if I can get the brackets only, I'm golden.

Thx everyone.....

Hi Anfanger....Yes I did...and bought 1 pair that said it fits my year and make, but its not even close. I attached a pdf of the hole placements. I bought 3 of these already and they're all different and say they fit my car. None do unfortunately. I will need to buy from someone that can line these holes up. The PDF is an 8.5x11 standard and should come out the correct size on any printer. Forgive my artistry skills...lol

Did you check this one - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_142SA6...ts.html?tp=919

You might be able to cut it to work with speakers you have.

Bought those also my friend. With another brand. These don't give me the depth. the speakers are too deep. But good suggestion. It was actually my first try.

If you go to wal-mart and pick up some plastic cutting boards you can cut your own, I know some people use those for speaker adapters when they need to make them. You can stack them on top of each other and glue them together to get the thickness you need.

yea....im headed down that road, but to be honest, I can't see this not being out there. I read people replace the blown ML speakers all the time. If they replace them with stock, they will buy the new speakers with the bracket. They are only sold that way. If that's the case, the blown speakers are sitting around. Wishful thinking I guess.

i think the ML speaker and bracket is one piece. Maybe look for someone who has a set of blown speakers and cut them out?

If you have access to a 3D printer with large enough printing bed, you can print your own brackets.

If you do end up making your own, might I suggest you consider marine board or Starboard. Having been around boats and associated with the marine industry most of my life, I've used this material countless times for marine and automobile applications. Very durable and versatile, and it is available in a variety of sizes. Best of luck!

I actually do...well did. I'm in architecture and a 3D printer was in the office. The office we now don't work from and moved to 100% virtual....

Whoa! That stuff looks perfect. I'm going to use that for the dash speakers. It's a much better solution then what i'm using. However, the original question for the 6x9's have been resolved. I was screwing around with the brackets i bought from Amazon (Mantra 82-8146) and noticed the bottom 2 holes match up perfectly. The top 2 have plastic over it. So I sized them up and drilled 2 holes. Voila.....perfect and actually very tight fit. Thanks guys for weighing in. Much...much appreciated.

Glad to hear you got the 6x9s taken care of. If you want to try out a piece of the Starboard, I have a couple of 1/2" thick boards that I could help you out with if you let me know the dimensions needed. Also, just in case the plastic Amazon brackets break or the drilled holes widen too much, I have used with good results the following for numerous plastic repairs such headlight tabs, bumper covers, etc.
