CEL & Trac Off Light on

CEL & Trac Off Light on
I turned on my '13 LS 460 F sport today, and the CEL & Trac off light came on. It was a bit concerning being that I was about to go on a 2 hour trip.
It felt like the acceleration wasn't as peppy as usual, then again, this is my wifes car which I drive only a couple times a month.
1.5 hours into my trip, I as going 80 - 85 MPH & felt the car wasn't responding well to the gas pedal..It WASN'T responding at all when I realized he pedal was pressed all the way down - Floored!
While still on the freeway the car naturally slowed down to about 50 MPH, I put the car in neutral for a few seconds, and then back into D, which restored the power. 5 minutes later, the same thing happened AGAIN, and power was restored by putting car into N while still rolling, and back to D.
I exited and took local streets for the rest of the drive. Everything seemed fine, minus the lights still illuminated.
The brake hold function is also down. When I press the button, I get a msg that brake hold is off & get a exclamation point triangle light flashing.
I just got home, and know I need to take to the shop, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and the cause.
