Roof Racks
Anyone find aftermarket roof racks/ load bars that will work on the LS? I want to keep a roof box on my car for some of the winter. My skis cannot fit in the car, I cannot fold the seats down, and there is no ski passage between the back seats. Its frustrating that I have to take a different car when I want to go up to the mountains.

I've bought a LOT of stuff from etrailer - an excellent company.
I'm pretty sure that it was Thule that supplied the roof racks/crossbars sold as a Lexus accessory for the LS460 in Europe but information about them has already been dropped from the Lexus tech website for Europe.

Check out Sea Sucker. I use one of their bike racks, and it's been great. I see they have ski racks too. https://www.seasucker.com/collections/racks

Another option is a hitch where you could mount a bike or ski rack that way. There was a thread around here recently about a hitch that mounts behind the bumper, but can't remember which model years it supported.

Hey guys after much searching I found something over here in Europe that works fine and you might be able to get hold of in the US, Yakima S8 mount + rails (110 cm wide) and then the Prorack clamp kit K189. All up it was Eur 260 so good value for money. Hope this helps? I can add pic's if you'd like to see what it looks like? Cheers
