Defective Pirelli P7 ASII
Last week had new Pirelli P7 ASII installed on my 2016 F Sport by Firestone. Immediately noticed a slight vibration. Firestone recommended I put a few miles on the tires to break them in and would check the balance if the vibration continued.
Put 250 miles on the tires, vibration did not go away.
Firestone conducted a road force balance and determined that 3 of the 4 tires were defective. Today they replaced the defective tires. After conducting another road force balance they found 2 of the 3 new tires were again defective. Tomorrow they expect to receive 2 more new tires from their distributor. Fingers crossed.
Shoutout to Firestone. This is a major pain for them and yet they continue to perform the extra work to make it right.

In my experience the CrossClimate2 tires have been almost silent. Much quieter than my old Premier LTXs. I already have them in the w speed rating; the H rating was a little cheaper but I wanted OEM spec in that regard.
Very good to hear no pun intended, they don't have Ws in my size yet
I am on my 2nd set of Pirelli P7's on the LS. The 2nd set is the P7 Plus II of which I have about 2,700 miles with out a bit of trouble. Now these are the 245/45R19's not the 18's. I got around 38,000 miles out of the 1st set and could have driven another 3-5 K on them. I also have a set of P7's (non Plus II's) on my 2006 SC 430 with just under 2000 miles on them again with no issues and they are in the 245/45R18 size. Simple Tire had a close out sale on them as the P7 Plus II were coming out. I just ordered from Tirerack yesterday a set of the P7 Plus II in the 245/45R18 size for my sons 2005 SC 430. I also ordered a new set of TPMS's for his SC. So far I have been very pleased with Pirelli.

The worst part is that I could NOT get anyone to take responsibility for these 4 tires with bulged sidewalls (and no, it wasn't from a road hazard... my old school tire guy said he'd never seen anything like this before). Tirerack didn't want to deal with them & Pirelli wouldn't replace them without my buying 4 new tires from them while they "inspected" them.

What size tires are the Pirelli's? Do you think the fact that you are in the Ukraine has anything to do with which tires are being shipped to your country? Are these tires 2nd's? Lots of guys on this forum have been running the P7's for years with great results.

Thanks to this post, Pirelli has definitely fallen off my list of tire brands to consider in the future.
sorry again for your trouble
