So I’ve been wanting to upsize to 19” for a while but stay factory. They were always 400 + 500+ USD and not mint so I would have to spend another close to 200 usd to get all 4 powder coated. I didn’t feel like spending that much. So patience pays off.
I found these rims for 320 USD but they needed some minor cosmetic repairs and I wanted to change the colour anyways so I had them repaired and powder coated - dark graphite, for about 200 USD so 520 all said and done.
Here are some initial photos. I shall post more when I’m done and it’s on the car.
So I had them installed today it’s rainy and wet I went with Hankook venture S1 evo2 Suv 1117 235/50/19 I went with a different size to deal with the horrible roads here.
4 tires with close to 7mm tread left for 320 USD total, which I thought was a good buy, plus about 34 bucks to take my old rims and tires off, transfer the tpms to new rims and install.
so now that I don’t have a spare tire, how do I get rid of the tpms warning light lol
ill post some pics once it’s complete with new bolts and center covers.
first drive back much quieter than the Dunlop winters I had one and the car rides so much higher on 19s n 50

I start search for 19 inch rims. Did you notice much different in term of handing, road noise level?
