I have a 2008 LS460L and the door actuator w/ soft close went out awhile ago on the front driver side. The soft close still works but I have to manually lock/unlock my door. I see a listing on eBay with the part I need but it's for an LS460(also '07-'08). So I think LS460 & LS460L would use the same parts right? (sry i dont know much abt cars)

 

I would certainly think that they would be the same. To be sure, check to see if the part numbers match.

 

The LS460 and the LS460L use the same parts from 2007 thru 2012.
However as you are aware there are 2 different variants of actuator, Soft-Close and Standard. Just make sure you get the same variant and you are good to go.
