As some of you guys may know I have been looking for a Lexus Ls460 L for like 2 months now. Everyday I was searching CarGurus, Autotrader, Cars.com and all the other search car websites. I originally wanted a 2013 because I like the front end better. The few 2013 L's that I found either had been in unexplained accidents or had some type of red flags. Then I came across a 2010 silver Ls460 L with the rear seat upgrade package as well as the ML system , Advanced Pre-Collision Sys w/Pedestrian Detection Sys, Driver Attention Monitor, Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and VGRS. Which I didn't want because of the issues I can have with it and the cost of repair but I decided to take my chances. This car has all its service records on Lexus driver and has been to a Lexus dealership since day one for maintenance. There were no red flags on its service history I live in Connecticut and the car was in Arkansas so I had Lemonsquad look at the car for me and test drive and everything seemed to check out. So after a little negotiating on the price, I decided to pull the trigger and buy the car. The hardest part for me was honestly finding someone to get my car from Arkansas to Connecticut. After calling around and getting quotes I finally was able to find someone to ship the car for me. They picked the car up on Wednesday and the car arrived to me saturday late afternoon with no issues at all. The car has some scratches here and there but nothing major and the front bumper needs some clips replaced. She is not perfect but she is perfect for me.
wow, what a beautiful color combo and pretty rare for the LS
congrats, and enjoy your new flagship, you will be good for 200,000 or more miles
have fun
Hi and congratulations! Patience and knowing when to recognize a good one when you see it is time consuming. Did it ever have the control arms replaced? That would take that potential issue off the table. Mileage? Minor scratches can be buffed out DIY. Clips are cheap on Ebay. I put a ceramic protective finish on myself, it was easy.I also used a mild solution of Simple Green to clean the leather and interior with little elbow grease.
Glad that all worked out well for you! I haven't been so fortunate yet. Placed a shipping order on Saturday, 3/14, and am still awaiting a pick-up date.
Yes the number would be helpful. I also have a 2010 LS 460 L with the rear seat upgrade. It's nice although I have never used it myself. Was that Yellow Fin out of Las Vagus, NV?
