Just curious, have been on the Forum frequently and don’t recall ever seeing anything about A/C compressors failing. This is especially striking because I know many of the LS vehicles have high mileage and I am sure the air conditioning systems get plenty of use over a period of years. Appreciate any discussion on this, I know a failure and replacement of a compressor is a high ticket item. In addition do these systems continue to operate just as well as they get older, in other words do they continue to cool just as well.

 

Certainly not a common issue no.
