Personally my intake mod kicked the JBrady intake hack job up and down the street.

I do not see any other intake threads on here, probably due to the types of people that end up buying the LS however. I am thinking about it only for ******* and giggles.
So so far I have remove the charcoal filter at the top of the lid and I did that only because the car is so old, having that there cannot possibly be any good for the vehicle at this point, so off it went. It does change the sound somewhat when you give it some gas, throatier.

So if you want to leave any of the covers on... i.e the middle engine cover for example.. then the part that is nearest or connect to the throttle body needs to be kept... but I do not think that is a bad thing.... tbh... I think if we can find a way to connect the weird shaped intake to filter with a water repellent filter sock or a box of some sort.... think takeda or AFE, we can place the filters basically right next to the throttle body... instead of right up at the side of the engine.. eliminating lots of that plastic... just for the heck of it.

 

I looked this up and it only seems to fit 13-17 models.

 

Same engine, Many of us are running this on 07-12 models.

 

13-17 is just when it came stock on F Sport.
Engine unchanged makes me believe it will work. Another poster claimed to have done it.

 

The F sport sound generator should fit 2007-2017.

VAN, have you cut out the screens in your filter box cover? I have Tom's as well on mine, much safer route than going w/K&N for sure.
