Got my JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 2000 Lumens bulbs the next day. Thanks Amazon Prime!

Wow! Night and day difference ! It's like having HID bulbs for your rear lights. It'll come in handy reverse high beaming someone with their high beams on at a stop light etc The back up camera screen looks a lot crisper and clearer. This mod was long overdue

Install was fairly simple. I couldn't change them without removing the entire trunk light.

Thanks JKittlesen

Finished cleaning the paint (wash, iron remover, clay) on the 2015 this weekend. Polishing starts soon.

I put in new hood struts, when I pulled the handle to open the hood, the hood wouldn't pop up.
After installing NEW hood struts, she pops right on up.

I got a pair off Amazon a few weeks for $40. The brand is called Life Support and they were easy to install. Simply pop off with a flat head screwdriver and snap back on.

Changed oil and filter. Then changed spark plugs. It had just started idling roughly last week. Got a P0308 code (misfire cylinder 8).

Removed battery and tray. One bolt was rusted/stripped on plastic battery tray. After trying a left handed drill bit to try to get the bolt our without success I used my HF plunge tool to cut away the small area where the bolt was. Caulked it back up after. Battery is very secure. Had to remove the ABS/VSC/TRAC computer off its mount and move it about 3 inches out of the way. The one on that side in the very back was definitely the hardest because no room for hands but eventually got it! Luckily that one you don't need to pry out the gasket and don't need to unclip the coil. Some of them looked horrible. Runs amazingly smooth now. Also my P0420 and P0430 codes have not come back just yet. If they stay off it's amazing because her state inspection is due this month. Oil was all over most of them. Here's how they looked:

As I was doing the change I was thinking, I gotta unload this car, its on its last legs, oil everywhere, etc. Once I changed them out and got my car wash (unlimited plan) I'm feeling like I just got a brand new car! PS these only had about 40k on them. My mileage is at about 247k now.
