Recently replaced my lower control arms and went to get a price for an alignment. The Mavis quoted me 130 for the fronts because it's their luxury car pricing, I passed. Then said they can do just the toe on the fronts for 80, I passed but then I thought.
The car as far as I know as no adjustments for Camber or caster so where they hell do they get pricing from.
My RX7 with full suspension didn't cost that much to get alignment.
I am imaging my 07 460 is pulling a tad to the left and have a note to look into an alignment.
So what exactly is aligned? Control arms? Is it simply a matter of moving the toe in or out on the wheels, I have no idea what I am talking about.
An alignment for a car is typically just an adjustment to the toe. This is done at the time rod end.
For me I was so thrown by the attempt to swindle me out of 130 for a front wheel alignment, that's not even all 4 wheels, that I had to check an make sure I wasn't the one trippin
