Front Windshield Sunshades (merged threads)
How did the windshield tint work out? I had scheduled an appointment in July to do my windshield but then chickened out due to fear of the tint laws, even if it would be imperceptible tint. On the demo unit my hand could feel a significant difference in radiant heat, but how was the final product once on your car?
I searched the forum and only saw the rear and side shade discussions.
What does everyone recommend for the front?
Plenty of options on Amazon. I know NOTHING about sunshades.

I bought this one, it is EXTREMELY effective. It's definitely well-built, with probably double the density of those you find in Walmart or Autozone.

I have an ECLIPSE (folding accordion style) shade for the front windshield....... Works great and has held up well for over 7 years. www.eclipsesunshades.net
I don't use a sunshade but instead had LLumar Air 80 heat-reduction film installed on the windshield. https://northamerica.llumar.com/auto...ow-tint-series
It seems to work pretty well, although not as well as a real sunshade would.

I'm a big fan of the Covercraft accordion style ones. I bought it on Amazon as well. I bought one for my Tundra for half the price just because of the blue color. They are usually around $50-$60. I believe and I got the one for my Tundra for $27 if I chose the blue color.
Also it’s practically flat once folded, you can put away in trunk or on rear deck if you have a car packed with people & things.
I use the CoverStar window shade for both my LS600hL and my SC430. They are custom fitted to my cars, come in many colors, and are extremely well made and durable. They are a bit pricey as I recall ($50 each?), but it's worth it to me to spend $50 to protect my $7K leather dashboard. They fold up very neatly and store in the back seat.
I bought mine from Heatshield they are and fit perfectly in all 3 cars I have had them for
https://www.heatshieldstore.com they are made by a company that makes aircraft covers.
Super high quality and keeps the interior nice and shaded and cool.
