Default Convert temperature or odometer on 2017

Does anyone know if you can convert the odometer to Miles from Kilometers? Also same with the temperature reading from Celcius to Fahrenheit? Possibly buying a Canadian car for use in the US.

Just buy it in "Murica" so you don't have to deal with the swap and reprogram.

It's pretty easy to quickly learn to mentally convert from miles to kilometers. I drove a Canadian market Mercedes with metric instruments in the U.S. for five years and it took maybe two weeks for the miles/kilometers conversion in my brain to become automatic. At first I put a conversion table on the dashboard. And it didn't take very long for me to start thinking in Celsius during extended stays in Europe. It's like when you become fluent enough in another language that you stop mentally converting between English and the other language and start thinking in the other language.

A fun part of having a vehicle with metric instruments in the U.S. is messing with passengers' minds. I had a number of passengers look over at the speedometer and express surprise or fear when they saw I was driving at 112 thinking it was 112 mph when my speed was really just under the 70 mph speed limit. I sometime kept the ruse going by telling the passenger that the Mercedes drove so smoothly that 112 mph in it seemed like 70 mph in a normal car. I was so bad!
