Default Cruise Control random issue

First Happy EASTER fellow Forum buddies!

So weird issue, cruise control on my 2007 LS460L was working fine and on the drive to Dallas it would just disengage for no reason. The light remained on the dash, and I would re-engage only to have it do it again 10 miles later. I pulled off for gas, turning off the vehicle, and once back on the road it worked fine for say ~50miles, only to do it again.

I dont have radar control and I’m not touching the brake or control arm.

Anyone have this this problem before or have an idea on where to start looking...?

What were the weather conditions when this occurred?

I had an old Toyota Xtra-cab pickup back in the day, that kept kicking off the cruise. It was a bad switch in the steering column that road vibration would shake the contacts open.
