As for the guy who claims he was offered $45,000 for a 2011............. internet troll.
Not true, when I was shopping for my 2016 a couple of months ago dealers were getting $45.000 -$46.000 for 2016 cars under 15.000 miiles and they’re not negotiating, Autotrader will give you an idea of what is going on right now but the asking prices are not down by any means.

This car is in mint condition so where could I get such a dependable car with classic looks for under $80,000 (mine cost $87,000) the BMW was $126,000

The oil was replaced every 3,000 miles, engine coolant replaced 2 years ahead of schedule and all 4 all-weather tires also replaced two weeks ago.

The reason for such low mileage is the LS is my winter and bad weather car as it is dependable and handles snow easily

On the other side of the coin, I have a 2016 BMW 750 I X drive M sport package which is a great car in dry weather and on long-distance driving with all the bells and whistles. If Lexus did not change the grill I would have bought my 4th Lexus instead of the BMW
Who in their right mind would offer $45K for a 2011 LS460? That is over twice the price most are going for. Maybe the better question would be who in their right mind would turn down $45K being offered for their 2011 LS?

This is what I’ve got, a 2016 LS460 with 8000 miles only, it took me a while to find it but patience always pays off 😊

It was his way to post “a joke”, there was nothing wrong with the car and the price was almost three times as much 👍

I'm basing my statements on what I can get in cash from Carvana/Vroom/etc. I know not to look at dealer asking prices.

I have never traded in a car for an obvious reason, everybody can sell a car today by itself if he/her prices the car right, I always sell my cars using Autotrader and I always buy cars from OEM dealers, never had any problem. Every dealer will gladly take a car on trade (for way less than the car is worth) they’re in the business to make money and when they take cars in they make money twice.....

I bought a super clean 2016 LS460 with 45k miles. It has all options except air ride and climate control in the back for $34k back in July. The local Lexus dealer has been offering me around $31k to trade in and Vroom offered $33k but I wouldn't interest in another car. Used car values are going up in the last few months.

The only way that ‘11 was going for 45k is if the 125k BMW was selling for sticker.... For chits and giggles.... here’s the MMR for clean ‘11 w/ 30k miles😃.

When I ran the MMR I gave him the benefit of a 5.0 CR instead of 4.5 just to see how high I could get it. That's the $700 difference.
