Hello everyone!

Ok so I have no need for air conditioning for many months now but when I set the climate control to "auto" I see that
the AC light is on even when I set the temperature at 74.

Is it really on and running, I don't hear the compressor on? I don't wish to wear the AC down, it can't really be running?

I posted about this previously and a reply said that the car knows when it might be moist outside so it turns on the AC
to remove fogging from the interior windows. Ok, this sounds great.

I would like to use the Auto button all year around, is there any reason not to in the cold months when no AC is needed?

"A/C" means the HVAC system is on. It doesn't mean that cool air is being generated. No reason to turn it off, just let the system do its thing.
