Perhaps, but that doesn't make up for the myriad of other issues German marques have (except Audi). Yes, I've owned German (BMW's). Spend ANY time in the MB or BMW forums and behold the angst and gnashing of teeth there. It's not a "fallacy" that German cars are less reliable. It's well-documented and widely accepted...even by staunch German car fanatics (I was one of them. Has MB even made it to the top 20 in reliability over the last, say...20 years? JLAWS,
I see it has been 8 months since you posted you replaced the lower control arms on your 2008 LS460 with aftermarket.
I am curious what brand of aftermarket control arms you installed and if they are holding up after 8+ months.
