Default Getting Rid Of Ants

This is only my 2nd post, but I've been a long time lurker. So, I had to travel to Charlotte last week for work. Apparently I parked near an ant colony as when I came out ants were going up my left front tire and had gotten all over the front of the car. At this point they were only outside of it, so I ran it through the carwash. I keep this car immaculate. The next morning they'd gotten inside. I took many measures to get rid of them. Sprayed around the door seals with home defense. Wiped and vacuumed the car to make sure there wasn't anything. It's clean. So every now and then I see one or two inside and I'm like damnit. So I installed baits under the seats. Seems like it called more ants as they'd gotten on the car again. Anyone have this experience? How'd you get rid of them for good? Thanks.

www.domyownpestcontrol.com has the "pro" insecticides you will need...... Call them for helpful advice. For effective ant control you need to know the type of ant you are dealing with so try to ID them.

Thanks. I will look into that. There are actually some of those locally. I didn't think about that.

When we bought our home last year, we had ants coming into the kitchen. We found an incredibly effective way to wipe the entire colony. It took about 3 days and I had to sit back and watch them pour in and out of the pantry where they visited, but in the end, they are totally gone. In your case, because the nest may be hidden somewhere inside your car, you'll need to leave it still for roughly 3 days or until you no longer see any ants lingering.
