Bluetooth power is off. The button to turn on is grayed out. What do I need to do to turn the power on?

 

I believe you need to activate bluetooth on your phone and then pair it with your car... have your phone search for available devices...

 

Thanks for the advice. I finally Lexus's toll free number 800 255-3987. They walked me through the process of resetting the system. Basically, holding down the volume **** until the system goes black and starts back up with the navigation/start screen. Then just re-pair the phone.
Hopefully this helps anyone else who has the same issue.
