Name that thunk....
I started hearing a thunk coming from the right/rear side of my 2010 LS460 AWD and automatically assumed it was the suspension. Took it to dealer and was told nothing wrong with the suspension because they couldn't replicate the sound and there weren't any OBDII error codes. I checked my trunk and spare wheel well to make sure there wasn't something loose making the noise - all clear.
The bladder in the air suspension appears to be working because I can raise the height on the vehicle and everything is level. In fact, when I raise the height, the suspension feels like it should and no thunking sounds. Any ideas on the culprit?

Yes, primarily over bumps. Mine's been doing it for months as well. Given the costs associated with the air suspension, I kept hoping it was something other than that. I've not seen that TSB, I'll have to search for it.
