Manual trunk release rubber pad ?
Hello fellows, 2007 LS 460
hey my trunk opening pad is deteriorating. It seems to be sticky. I thought there was
something over it like a button or lever, but it is just a rectangular rubber pad that you push in.
Am I missing something or is that all there is on the trunk lid to manually open it.

there's a thread in the forum on changing it.
I HIGHLY recommend getting the ~$30 whole module replacement rather than the $10 replacement.
The amount of work involve to save $20 is WAYYYYY too much.
I did the $10 replacement and wasted an extra hour or so and extra scrapers, paper towels, and chemicals.
Pretty much have to take apart half the trunk..

Oh crap... My button is a little sticky but that is really a big time consuming job. I figured this would be a 15 min type job, not pull apart the whole trunk.
